The event was co-ordinated by M.Per. Pitarolkili,Lecturer in the department of
music technology and acoustic.
The nomarch of Rethymnos awarded prize to instrument-maker Manolis Stagakis,
for his significant contribution in the field of the construction of Cretan
music instruments.
The prize was offered by the Nomarch of Rethymnos Mr. Papadakis.
During the three-day exhibition the students of the Music High School of Rethymnos was playing
live music in 10 areas of the old city of Rethymnos.
In addition,
local people dressed in traditional cretan constumes who were dancing, was a part of the event.
